Terms of use

Welcome to the MS‑Selfie website. Please take time to read and understand our terms of use.

About us

MS-Selfie (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an initiative run by Professor Gavin Giovannoni. The objective of MS‑Selfie is to:

  • help and empower people with multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • understand the issues they need to consider when managing their MS;
  • help people with MS to take control of some of the decision-making around their management
  • empower those with MS to ask the right questions of their healthcare providers (HCPs).

The site is based on Professor Giovannoni’s opinions and experience as a practising neurologist specialising in MS within the National Health Service, England.

The information on this website is not intended to substitute medical advice. You must discuss any concerns you may have with your HCP.

This resource is currently evolving, and new material will be added as we further develop the website. Please note that some of the information will be time-limited and will change as new data emerge.

The website may be accessed via the URL https://msselfie.co.uk/ (the ‘website’). By using this website and accessing the information and features made available on it, including those features that need you to register to use, like our donations page or email alerts (the ‘website services’), you confirm your acceptance of these Terms of use. If you do not agree to our Terms of use, you should stop accessing our website, using our website services or submitting any information to us.

We may change and update these Terms of use at any time without giving prior notice, but we will post any changes to the Terms of use onto this area of the website. These changes will be effective from the time they are posted.

These Terms of use and our Privacy policy govern the whole arrangement between us. If any part of these Terms of use or the Privacy policy are found to be invalid or unenforceable, then the remaining provisions will still be in force between us.
